1973 Zemaitis Metal Top Richie Sambora Bon Jovi

What an incredible piece of Rock n Roll history! Unequaled in the Zemaitis world, this Metal Top Zemaitis guitar was originally made for Gary Grainger in 1973. Gary used this guitar in the Rod Stewart band, and we have a poster from 1974 showing the band and Gary is holding this guitar. Moving on, the guitar was purchased by Heather Locklear and given to Richie Sambora as a gift, Richie has used the guitar extensively on Bon Jovi gigs, recordings & TV.

The guitar is extremely rare in its own right, being a double cut metal front means it is one of only three or four worldwide. 1973 is very early production the first metal front being 1971. The guitar is signed on the back by Richie, it is also signed on the rear of the headstock by Ronnie Wood complete with caricature fantastic original condition. Richies custom made case is included, many private photos taken in his garage, on stage footage , hand written letter from RS. The guitar comes with a super deluxe $850 hardshell case by Cedar Creek, finished in faux ‘Gator.

Update: 04/10/2014: The guitar now has the added benefit of the very best case that Cedar Creek can construct. No expense spared, all options, top spec in every aspect. Case alone is over $750.00

Check out the footage from American Idol series 9, the guitar looks & sounds simply phenomenal
