1991 George Harrison’s Own Cassette Copy of “Live in Japan” From WB Studio
Issued by Warner Bros studios and given directly to George Harrison, this was the finished product and was given to George to listen to and absorb and ultimately to give his final approval.
There are no frills with this version, it is purely for the content. It was never intended to be marketed, the cassette does not even use the full title of “Live In Japan”, it is simply “George Harrison Live”.
The label carries the note “In House Studio/J.M” and the date May 15th 1992.
Funnily enough the album was listed as having been produced by Spike and Nelson Wilbury both being Georges alter egos in the Traveling Wilburys. Coming up next we have Georges signature as Nelson Wlibury.
